1. How do I pay or contest a parking ticket?
Parking violations may be paid in several different ways:

  • Pay online: Pay Your Parking Tickets Online

The primary method to settle disputes regarding parking violations is at a hearing in the Collier County court system. All parking violation citations issued provide directions to request a court hearing. A judge shall make a determination as to whether a parking violation has been committed.

2. How do I pay a Traffic Citation?
Traffic citations must be paid in accordance with the instructions on the Collier County Clerk’s Office website at https://www.collierclerk.com/court-divisions-2/traffic.  The page also offers instructions for other options relating to traffic citations (request a court hearing or attend a driver improvement school).

3. What are the hours and cost for Public Fingerprinting?

Fingerprinting is generally available in the Naples Police Department by appointment only.  Please click here to schedule your appointment.

Please note:

Cash or check payment (no credit cards) is $15 for City residents and $20 for all others.

Photo I.D. required (proof of City residency also required for the reduced fee).

Fingerprint cards are available if needed.
No appointments required.

4. What do I do about speeding vehicles or improperly parked vehicles in my neighborhood?

5. Where do I report identity theft?

6. How do I report noise violations?
Please contact the Naples Police Department via the non-emergency telephone number (239-213-3000) to have an officer respond to take appropriate action.  For ongoing or repeat violations, please ask for the Community Policing unit.

7. How do I report or recover a lost item?
Please contact the Naples Police Department via the non-emergency telephone number (239-213-3000) to have an officer respond for lost or stolen items.  To recover items possibly held by the department, please contact the Property and Evidence section at 239-213-4836 during business hours to determine if the property is available for return and to arrange an appointment to retrieve the item(s).

8. What are the fees for false alarms?
1st response = no fee (where no false alarm has occurred within the preceding six-month period)
2nd response = $10.00 (within 6 months of 1st response)
3rd response = $75.00 (within 6 months of a 1st response and each succeeding response

9. How do I request a copy of a 9-1-1 call?
A copy of a 9-1-1 call can be requested in the following ways:
Email your request to: PolicePRR@naplesgov.com.
Send a fax request to 239-213-4899.
Call the Records Division at 239-213-4890 or the Communications Manager at 239-213-4806.

10. How do I commend an officer or express appreciation?
Please contact the Naples Police Department via the non-emergency telephone number (239-213-3000) to speak with an available supervisor.  If a supervisor is unavailable, you will be able to leave a voicemail.  Alternatively, you can submit a comment on the City of Naples website at https://www.naplesgov.com/contact -  the submission form is at the bottom of the page.

11. How do I file a complaint on an officer?
To make a complaint against a Naples Police Department Employee, notify a department supervisor by:
Coming in person to the police station located at 355 Riverside Circle, Naples, Florida 34102.
Calling the Naples Police Department's non-emergency number (239) 213-3000 and requesting a supervisor.
Calling or Emailing the Naples Police Department's Professional Standards Division (239) 213- 4871, npdstandards@naplesgov.com, or

12. How do I apply for a career at the police department?
Applications for employment can be completed online.  The application can be accessed on the City if Naples webpage at www.naplesgov.com then clicking on the job opportunities button.  Once redirected, an applicant can choose the link for Certified Police Officer, Police Officer Trainee, or Telecommunicator I to begin the application process.

13. How do I attend the Citizen’s Police Academy?

14. How do I request a vacant property/home watch?
Go to https://www.naplesgov.com/police/page/notification-vacant-property-home-watch and download the form “Notification of Vacant Property”.  Once the form is completed, it can be mailed, faxed, or dropped off at the Naples Police Department lobby.

15. How do I become an intern?
The Naples Police Department has limited positions for interns.  Applications for internships can be completed online.  The application can be accessed on the City of Naples webpage: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/naplesfl/transferjobs.

16. How do I obtain a beach sticker?
Beach stickers may be obtained at City Hall for residents or property owners within the City of Naples.  County residents/property owners may obtain a sticker at Collier government offices as shown at the following web address: https://www.collierparks.com/collier_park/beach-parking-information/.
