Patricia Rambosk, MMC, City Clerk
Patricia Rambosk has served the City of Naples with distinction for more than 41 years. She was appointed City Clerk by the City Council in May 2012, a Charter-appointed position alongside the City Manager and City Attorney. Prior to her appointment, she served the City for 28 years as Legal Coordinator.
Patricia earned certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) as a Certified Municipal Clerk in 2013 and as a Master Municipal Clerk in 2015. In 2025, she earned the Bronze Level Certificate for completing the two-year Education Plus Program (EPP) through the IIMC focusing on leadership, ethical governance and professional advancement. She has been a member of IIMC since 1994 and the Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC) since 2012. Her leadership experience includes serving on the FACC Board of Directors as Southwest Director from 2019 to 2022, as well as participating on the Membership, Mentoring, and Conference Committees. She has been awarded professional development scholarships from both organizations and is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Collier.
Patricia completed her bachelor’s degree at Barry University, with a supplemental concentration in Human Resource Management. She also earned professional legal certifications, became an honorary member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc., and was among the first paralegals in Collier County to be registered with The Florida Bar.
In 2016, Patricia received the Robert N. Clark Memorial Award from the Florida Association of City Clerks. This prestigious honor is awarded annually to one Clerk who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing the ideals and goals of the City Clerk profession through active service and contributions to municipal government at both the state and local levels.
As City Clerk, Patricia’s responsibilities include serving as Chief Election Official in coordination with the City’s general elections; maintaining official records of all City Council and advisory board proceedings; safeguarding and managing the City’s official documents; directing the Citywide records retention program; and assisting the public in accessing non-exempt City records in accordance with Florida’s Public Records Law (Chapter 119, Florida Statutes). She also oversees all public records requests and performs additional duties as assigned by the City Council.
Dedicated to promoting transparency and public access, Patricia led the creation of a comprehensive digital library containing the City’s official records dating back to 1925. She spearheaded initiatives that allow residents to seamlessly link meeting minutes to corresponding web-streamed discussions, providing an efficient and user-friendly public records experience. These efforts resulted in the City receiving the inaugural 2015 ACE Award for Innovative and Outstanding Work in Website Transparency from the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, as well as an A+ rating from the Lucy Burns Institute as a top government website.
Through her leadership, the City Clerk’s Office remains committed to accountability, transparency, and exceptional service, continuing to earn the trust of the City’s residents and visitors.
Sincerely,
Patricia L. Rambosk, CMC, MMC, City Clerk
