Naples Beach and Pier Sunset

The City of Naples boasts an extraordinary coastline that spans nearly 9 miles, captivating visitors with its pristine beaches and natural beauty. With an impressive 40 beach accesses, it's easy to find your own slice of paradise along this picturesque stretch of shoreline. A prominent highlight is the historic Naples Pier, an iconic landmark that juts out 1,000-feet into the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It not only offers a prime fishing spot but also serves as a gathering place to witness stunning sunsets and soak in the serene coastal atmosphere. Additionally, the city is blessed with two notable passes, Doctors Pass and Gordon Pass, adding to the allure of the beaches. These passes provide opportunities for boating, kayaking, and exploring the fascinating marine life that thrives in these waters. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, the beaches of the City of Naples are a true treasure, inviting you to indulge in the wonders of coastal living.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on the City of Naples, causing significant destruction to the beloved Naples Pier and numerous beach accesses. The aftermath of the hurricane required our dedicated crews to work tirelessly to clean up and repair the minor damages at several beach accesses. However, the unfortunate reality is that 13 beach accesses suffered major damage and are currently deemed unsafe for public use. We are actively addressing the situation, prioritizing the necessary repairs to ensure the safety and accessibility of these important entry points to our beautiful beaches. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to restore these beach accesses to their former glory.  For information on the beach accesses that are open and the status of those that are closed, please click the link below for Post Hurricane Ian - Beach & Public Access Update.
