2019 ADA Transition Plan

The City of Naples is currently evaluating all its policies, programs, services, and facilities to ensure accessibility by all members of the public.

City staff has evaluated the accessibility of facilities in the public right-of-way and developed Phase 1 of the 2019 ADA Transition Plan which recommends a 10-year plan to remove the accessibility barriers identified. The Phase 1 plan was adopted by resolution on December 19, 2018. It will be updated annually and the latest update can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Phase 2 of the 2019 ADA Transition Plan will evaluate and recommend improvements to administrative policies, communication practices, parks and recreation facilities, administrative buildings, parking lots and garages, and beach accesses. The self-evaluation for Phase 2 is ongoing.
