Multi-Basin Assessments

Building from the 2018 Stormwater Master Plan and the 2020 assessment of Basin IV, the City of Naples Streets & Stormwater Department has worked with Kimley-Horn in Fort Myers to perform assessments of five stormwater sub-basins within the City. The five sub-basins are generally described as:

  1. Assessment Basin A is generally bounded on the north by Seagate Drive, on the west by Moorings Bay, on the east by U.S. Highway 41/Tamiami Trail, and on the south by Park Shore Drive. A map of the sub-basin is included with the Assessment Basin Maps.
  2. Assessment Basin B is generally bounded on the north by 5th Avenue South/U.S. Highway 41, on the west by the properties on the west side of 9th Street South, on the east by Naples Bay, and on the south by Naples Landings. A map of the sub-basin is included with the Assessment Basin Maps.
  3. Assessment Basin C is generally bounded on the north by the properties on the north side of 12th Avenue South, on the west by the Gulf of Mexico, on the east by Naples Bay, and on the south by the properties on the south side of 14th Avenue South. A map of the sub-basin is included with the Assessment Basin Maps.
  4. Assessment Basin D is generally bounded on the north by 6th Avenue North, on the west by 9th Street North/U.S. Highway 41, on the east by Goodlette-Frank Road, and on the south by Central Avenue. A map of the sub-basin is included with the Assessment Basin Maps.
  5. Assessment Basin E is generally bounded on the north by the Gordon River and Goodlette-Frank Road North, on the west by Goodlette-Frank Road, on the east by the Naples Airport, and on the south by the 4th Avenue North and Walker’s Hideaway Marina.
