5 vocalists singing in tight SSATB harmony - backed by rhythm section performing intricate Manhattan Style vocal arrangements of songs from every era and genre. WOW!
What makes this really great it that the vocalists featured are selected from the CGO Stars of Tomorrow Educational Program, which develops the talents and provides performing opportunities for aspiring young vocalists backed onstage by top professional players. But make no mistake. This is not a student show. This is as professional a performance as you will ever see on any stage anywhere.
Repertoire includes vocal harmony from Doo Wop to top 40 hits, and everything in between.
“In the Still of the Night” by the Crests, “Windy” by the Association, “Route 66” by Manhattan Transfer, “Mr. Sandman” by the Chordettes, Frankie Valli’s Jersey Boys and Jazz hits like Chick Corea’s “Spain”.
Everything is fair game for 5-part harmony.
