Detective Montalbano (Luca Zingaretti) is on his way to a funeral for a friend. His driver is speeding and he gets into an accident near a villa in a small Sicilian town. The villa appears to be abandoned and he leaves to go on with his driver. For some curious reason he goes back, all alone, to the villa that night and lets himself in. He snoops around and he finds the corpse of a young woman.
Presented by the Italian Cultural Society. At admittance, attendees are asked to make a voluntary contribution of $5.
