CHANGES TO HORTICULTURAL COLLECTION SERVICE

Effective October 1, 2020 the City of Naples Solid Waste Division will provide the horticulture collection previously provided by a private contractor.  The City of Naples has decided to move the service back in-house, in an effort to get the best price and service for our residents. At this time pick-up days will remain the same. We appreciate your patience during this transition.  Please contact the Solid Waste Division with any questions at 239-213-4700.

Solid Waste Horticultural Collections
The city provides once-a-week collection of yard waste and horticultural debris. The city does not collect yard waste or tree trimmings that have been cut by private contractors.

Where to Place Yard Waste
Yard waste may be placed within 6 feet of the curb. Make sure that debris is not placed underneath low-lying trees or high wires (our collection vehicles need 18 feet of clearance). Keep debris placed away from storm drains, fire hydrants, cable boxes, etc. Place out in either bag, paper yard waste bags (no plastic) or can - in trash can w/o lid.  Yard waste must be in place by 7:00 am the day of collection.

Horticultural debris must be placed on your own property and all contractors must remove their yard debris. The city does not collect horticultural waste from landscape maintenance contractors.
