9th Street South and 10th Avenue South Intersection Improvement Project

Project Type:
Street
Project Status:
In Design

The City of Naples is currently working on the design of 9th Street South and 10th Avenue South Intersection. This project is proposed to convert the span wire traffic signal system to a hurricane resistant mast-arm assembly. The project is also intended to address increasing concerns from property owners along 10th Avenue South of high vehicle speeds and truck volumes by integrating traffic calming components in the form of raised and decorative median islands at the intersection and slightly narrower travel lanes westbound on 10th Avenue South.

We are looking forward to sharing more about this project with you. Questions concerning this project should be directed to the City of Naples’ Streets and Stormwater Department’s Projects & Public Outreach Coordinator, Samantha McEnhill, at 239-213-5019 or smcenhill@naplesgov.com.
