Fire-Rescue Youth Academy - July 20-24, 2026

2026 Registration has closed.

Cadets will be notified by June 15th if they have been accepted. 

All repeat cadets will be on standby. 


This one-week program, July 20-24th, will introduce students aged 13-17 to careers in fire-rescue and emergency medical services. Cadets will be involved in classroom and practical exercises.

  • Cadets must bring a water bottle and lunch every day except Friday.
  • Cadets will be supplied with a t-shirt, hat, and itinerary on the first day of the academy.

The last day will include a pizza party and a graduation ceremony. Class size will be restricted to 40 cadets. The registration may close before May 29th if the limit is reached. 

*Class and Squad leaders will receive high school credits/hours for completing the program.

A donation of $175.00 per student will be charged to assist with the last day’s events - no cash accepted. Make checks payable to “City of Naples” and add Youth Academy and the cadet's name in the memo line,  or click to Pay Online, see below for instructions if needed. If paying online, please add the cadet's first and last name AND Youth Academy in the designated area to type Youth Academy. There's is no other way to tie the payment to the cadet.
