GASOLINE-POWERED LEAF BLOWERS PROHIBITED
effective October 21, 2021

The City of Naples City Council adopted Ordinance 2020-14542 on October 21, 2020 amending Chapter 22, Environment, Article II, Nuisances, Section 22-37, Noise, of the Code of Ordinances to address health, customary use and enjoyment of property, and noise concerns associated with gasoline-powered leaf blowers:

Gasoline-powered leaf blowers will be PROHIBITED within the City of Naples;

Battery- and electric-powered leaf blowers that exceed 65 decibels (dBA) as shown on the manufacture's label affixed to the leaf blower will be PROHIBITED;

Leaf blowers that DO NOT have a manufacturer's label that identifies its dBA rating may NOT BE USED within the City of Naples.
