Bill Kramer holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Liberty University, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Saint Thomas University. He served as a teacher, guidance counselor, administrator, and coach at Naples High School from 1998 through 2021, where he amassed a 216-51 all-time record as the winningest football coach in school history. He has been inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame and Florida High School Athletics Association Hall of Fame. The driving force behind Bill’s coaching philosophy was the notion that football could be a powerful tool used to grow and mold young men into tremendous sons, husbands, fathers, citizens, and leaders. He has worked tirelessly to expand this mission for over 25 years in our community.

After leaving Naples High School, Coach Kramer served as the Collier County Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He is a regular guest speaker and clinician for numerous schools, universities, professional, and civic groups. Bill’s commitment to community service has garnered awards and recognition both locally and nationally. Bill was an inaugural member of the Collier County Education Foundation’s Ten Men of Distinction and has served as president of the 6,000+ member Florida Athletic Coaches Association. From the Collier County Bar Association Educator of the Year Award to halftime segments during NFL playoff games, he has consistently been a source of pride for the City of Naples.

Bill has been married to Susan, a 7th-generation Floridian, for 35 years. Together, they are proud parents to four daughters and grandparents to three grandsons and a granddaughter.

Coach Kramer’s top priority for his time on the council is health and public safety. Coach Kramer knows that Naples is at its best when citizens, community leaders, and investment partners work together, stewarding our resources to preserve and enhance the best hometown in America.
