Equipment Services

Equipment Services is an internal service fund responsible for the purchase, maintenance and repair of approximately 710 pieces of City owned vehicles and equipment. The Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle wash facility and the fuel depot. Additionally, the division is responsible for the back up power supplies at Naples Police and Emergency Services Department facilities.

Annual funding for the Equipment Services Division is provided directly by each department in the City. Equipment Services uses a fully weighted labor rate to direct bill each department for services provided to equipment under their respective departments. Departments are billed monthly.

Responsible for:

• 300 City vehicles & 300 + pieces of smaller equipment.
• All mechanics are ASE certified, plus 2 hold EVT certifications.
• City fuel facility with 2-12,000 gallon tanks.
