IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: The City’s Permit Processing system will be converted to a new software system beginning August 20th. Contractors will be unable to use our online site or IVR system to view permit processing information view inspection status or schedule inspections during this conversion process from August 20th at 11:00 a.m. to August 26th at 8:00 a.m. During this time contractors can schedule their inspections directly with staff or by leaving a voice message using the IVR access number (239) 213-7112.
Additionally, all of the current application/permit numbers will be changed. On August 26th to obtain your new project application numbers please access the Naples Self Service Site online on the Naples website home page under Naples Applications or via the following link:
Please register and set up a new account in Citizen Self Service and obtain your new application numbers by searching your project by address and linking the project to your account. Once obtained the new application numbers will be used to schedule an inspection online thru Citizen Self Service or by using our new IVR system by calling (239)213-7112. After Hours, Weekends and Holidays
The City of Naples Building Department has a
representative on duty after hours, on weekends and on holidays to
respond to complaints involving construction sites. Residents are
encouraged to contact the representative whenever there is a complaint
involving construction sites at 239-564-9109.
Regular Business Hours
During regular business hours, complaints involving construction site problems should be directed to 239-213-5043.
State-certified and registered contractors that wish to conduct work in the City of Naples
must contact the Building Department at 239-213-5020 to obtain permitting and licensing information.
The City of Naples currently is rated a Class 2 (Fire Rating) Community by the ISO (Insurance Services Organization). A Class 1 rating is the highest rating and a 10 rating is the lowest. This high rating benefits our residents by allowing them to purchase property insurance at a reduced rate.
The City of Naples has once again been awarded a Class 6 rating by the CRS (Community Rating System). This high rating allows residents to realize a 20% reduction in the cost of obtaining flood insurance.
