The River Park Aquatic Center will close during inclement weather such as thunder and lightning, extreme rain. If the daily forecast high temperature is under 60 degrees the center will not open that day. Some aquatic programming may still be held. Calling all adults from non-swimmers to triathletes, here is your chance to learn or develop your skills further in this great sport. This is a no pressure environment where the instructors allow you to learn at your own pace. All instructors are certified Water Safety Instructors and enjoy teaching. They have fun ways to ease you into the water and help overcome yor fear. Join us at the River Park Aquatic Center for a fun time in the sun while learning to swim. Becoming a certified lifeguard is a fun way to interact with and educate others on water safety. Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, included, are good for two (2) years, allowing you to work any where in the state or country. All individuals must be 15 years of age or older to become certified.
