About The Norris Center
The Norris Community Center, which opened in March 2004, has an auditorium with stage, 2 meeting rooms, a dance studio, conference room, game room, and art gallery, and an amphitheater. Teh center offers many cultural and recreation classes including, creative arts, adult dance, acting, languages and martial arts. During holidays there are a variety of camp programs and special performances for families. The center is home to Gulfshore Playhouse and other local theater groups.
 

 

Ambassador Program
At the present we have Ambassadors serving the Naples Preserve, The Norris Center, River Park Community Center and the City Manager's office. They work as greeters, guides, ushers, tutors, event assistants, park rangers and reception.  There were over 40 Ambassador volunteers who contributed over 5,800 hours in 2011. The work of the Ambassadors is worthwhile, fun and educational. Bring your interests and your experiences to the City of Naples Ambassador program. Ambassadors bring a broad range of skills to the program. However, orientation and training is provided as needed.
