Upcoming Meeting Agendas
The format for the City of Naples upcoming agendas has changed to provide an electronic format for City Council use and, as a result, the file size on these agendas has gotten larger.  If you are accessing these files over a slow internet connection, it will take a significant time to download them, please be patient.

A copy of the agendas is always available in the City Clerk's office if it is not accessible to you over the internet.

FEMA Flood Zone Information
.
FEMA

The Preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) is a preliminary or draft map issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that shows the proposed locations for flood zones. The flood zones are based upon modeled predictions of flood depths from a 1 % storm (a storm that has a 1 % chance of occurring during any year, commonly referred to as a 100 year storm). The zones establish flood elevations that building regulations and the National Flood Insurance rates are based upon.

Rainy Season Readiness

We are now officially in the wet season in South Florida when 70 percent of the year’s rain falls.  In our region, flooding can happen when heavy rainfall occurs over a short period of time from a single, heavy storm, tropical system or hurricane.  The South Florida Water Management District's (SFWMD) website includes timely information about how the SFWMD operates during the rainy season and the preparations now in place for seasonal readiness.  The website also contains information about what residents can do to prepare for upcoming storms and what to anticipate  in the aftermath of heavy rains.  Click the logo below to visit the SFWMD's Rainy Season Readiness website.
